Iş görüşmelerinde kendinizi tanıtmak, işverenin sizi daha yakından tanımasını sağlayan önemli bir adımdır. Ancak bu süreçte İngilizce bilmek, özellikle uluslararası firmalarda çalışma fırsatları için oldukça önemlidir. İşte bu nedenle, İngilizce iş görüşmelerinde kendinizi nasıl tanıtabileceğinize dair bazı örnekler hazırladık:
1. Kendinizi tanıtın
Öncelikle, kendinizi tanıtmanız gerekiyor. Bu aşamada, isminizi, yaşınızı, nerede yaşadığınızı ve eğitim durumunuzu söyleyebilirsiniz. Örneğin:
“My name is John, I am 28 years old and I live in Istanbul. I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bogazici University.”
Bu aşamada, ayrıca iş görüşmesi için neden başvurduğunuzu da söyleyebilirsiniz. Örneğin:
“I applied for this job because I am interested in the field of finance and I believe this company can provide me with valuable experience.”
2. Tecrübelerinizi ve Yeteneklerinizi Anlatın
İkinci aşamada, iş tecrübelerinizi ve yeteneklerinizi anlatabilirsiniz. Bu aşamada, öncelikle önceki iş tecrübelerinizi ve bu tecrübelerde elde ettiğiniz başarıları anlatın. Örneğin:
“I have worked as a financial analyst at XYZ Company for two years. During this time, I was responsible for analyzing financial data, creating reports and making recommendations to senior management. As a result of my work, the company was able to increase its profits by 20%.”
Ayrıca, iş görüşmesinde önemli olan yeteneklerinizi de öne çıkarabilirsiniz. Bu yetenekler, iş pozisyonuna göre değişebilir, ancak genellikle liderlik, problem çözme, takım çalışması ve iletişim gibi yetenekler önemlidir. Örneğin:
“I have strong leadership skills and I am able to motivate my team to achieve their goals. In my previous job, I was able to lead a team of five analysts to successfully complete a project within a tight deadline.”
3. Neden Sizi Seçmeliyiz
Son aşamada, işverene neden sizi seçmesi gerektiğini anlatmalısınız. Bu aşamada, özellikle iş pozisyonunun gerektirdiği özelliklere vurgu yapmanız önemlidir. Örneğin:
“I believe I am the best candidate for this job because I have a strong background in finance and I am able to analyze financial data and make recommendations based on my analysis. Additionally, I have strong communication skills and I am able to work effectively in a team environment.”
Bu aşamada, ayrıca şirket hakkında araştırma yaparak, şirketin hedeflerine uygun olduğunuzu da vurgulayabilirsiniz. Örneğin:
“I am excited about the opportunity to work for a company that is focused on sustainability and environmental protection. I believe my skills and experience make me a great fit for this company and I am eager to contribute to its success.”

“My name is Sarah and I am 32 years old. I have a master’s degree in marketing from the University of London. I am applying for this job because I am interested in the field of digital marketing and I believe this company can provide me with valuable experience. In my previous job, I was responsible for creating and implementing digital marketing campaigns for a variety of clients. As a result of my work, these campaigns were able to increase brand awareness and drive sales. I have strong communication skills and I am able to work effectively in a team environment. I believe I am the best candidate for this job because I have a strong background in digital marketing and I am able to create effective campaigns that drive results.”

“My name is Alex and I am 25 years old. I have a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Stanford University. I am applying for this job because I am interested in the field of software development and I believe this company can provide me with valuable experience. In my previous job, I was responsible for developing software applications for a variety of clients. As a result of my work, these applications were able to increase productivity and efficiency. I have strong problem-solving skills and I am able to work on complex projects. I believe I am the best candidate for this job because I have a strong background in software development and I am able to create high-quality applications that meet the needs of clients.”
